OK, this tip isn't for everyone, but I thought it was
interesting...

I got bored recently and downloaded some free games
from download.com.

I noticed that the usual method of distribution of
games involves free downloads of "shareware" and then
you have to pay to keep playing the game.

OK, fair enough.

But, what would happen if you wrote a little "teaser"
ebook on your favorite subject and uploaded it to
download.com?

Free publicity for you. Free leads for your "full
version ebook" which you sell through a link in the
free version.

I don't know if these ebook contain up sells to full
ebooks or affiliate links, but it seems to be another,
relatively unexplored, traffic idea.
