The secret
key to a successful business and a very responsive list is to
treat it as a community of marketers. If you desire respect then
you have to respect and care about your subscribers first.
Don't just
send them dozens of programs and opportunities to join and wish
to make some money every time you send out your e-mail!
If you are
going to send them a new tool or a recommended opportunity then
it must be of a very high quality and you have to test it before
you send it. This will reflect your personality as a marketer
and you will start to gain respect.
If you are
going to send out any ads to your list let it be 1 mailing maximum
per week. Actually I don't recommend sending out any Ads at all.
This will dramatically increase the response rate and you will
still be able to make money. I will talk about this part in details
in the next section.
Tips on building
a smart community:
Create forums:
Building a
public discussion forum where all subscribers including your self
share ideas and talk all about internet marketing and businesses,
is your first step to creating a successful community of marketers.
Streaming audio:
Nothing beats the sound of another
human being's voice.
Just record a few minuets audio message speaking about your self
and your offer in brief.
Create polls:
Let your subscribers
share with you any decisions you are about to take. Successful
marketers always ask their subscribers about their opinion regarding
any changes or new features.
Product reviews:
If there is
any new tool or program launched tell your subscribers all ups
and downs of this new program. Create a honest review, add your
conclusion tell them if they should try it or not - make your
self clear and state the reasons.
Let them ask you questions:
Allow your
subscribers to ask you questions and answer them in your newsletter.
Here is an example:
|
Q:
Mohamed, Do you believe in
MLM?
Terry
A:
Terry,
Yes! I earn almost
all of my income from MLM opportunities
BUT... You have to join the right opportunity that offers
a real products. But MLM is a great choice, It's my
duty to keep you informed about what works :-)
All the best, Mohamed |
Sweepstakes/Contests
Get subscribers
excited about your newsletter by running contests at least once
every month. Contests do not have to be complicated; simple works
best. Make the contest related to your product or service.
Try to find
prizes that closely fit the theme of your business. Even small
inexpensive prizes are appealing if offered to a niche audience
who deeply appreciate them.
Benefits
of contests:
- Subscribers
will enjoy checking and reading your newsletter
- Increase
traffic and response
- Prizes
advertise
- Contests
will promote your product or service
So
it's more about creating a smart interactive community of networkers
and marketers don't just send them articles and tips. If you are
seeking long-term success then you have to share with them your
personal experience and let them share their experience with each
others too.
