Here are some quick
tips:
Focus...
Don't destruct your site visitors by adding too many links and
offers. My advice to you is, collecting your visitors names and
email addresses should be your main concern. That's how you will
contact them in the future and build relation ships. This way
they will know who you are, they will know that you care about
them, they will trust you and definitely they will buy your products
or join your business coaching program.
Multiple
Resources ...
Add your ezine subscription form or Pop-Up's on every website
you have. For example my ezine subscription form is at my home
business directory and several mini-sites to grab subscribers
from start-page exchange programs, etc...
Whenever you create a new website, make sure to add your subscription
form. Let me repeat this, building your list should be your main
target.
Decide
how frequent you'll send out your ezine...
It's
preferable to send out your ezine weekly. Actually it depends
on your time, quality and quantity of your contents. But weekly
is the optimum rate,
your subscribers will always remember you and you will build creditability
faster if you can send high-quality information weekly.
Best
day to send out your mailing...
After
a long research and testing, the best day to send out your mailing
is Wednesday. Avoid sending out your mailings on week-ends. I've
arranged the response of each day for you, the best day is at
the top:
- Wednesday
- Friday
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Sunday
- Saturday
Stay away from...
Bulk traffic, Never order bulk traffic from any online company
no matter what they tell you. Actually you can order 100,000 hits
and you will never get any subscribers or sales. Why? well, they
will deliver the 100,000 hits to your website but it will be through
un-targeted exit windows, FFA pages, spam and Redirects on spyware.
So what's the use of offering internet marketing information to
some one interested in sports news for example? See, it will never
work!
Leads List, Don't ever think about buying an email list
to build your ezine. They never work. You just don't know where
they come from, what are they looking for, or even if they are
real leads. No mater what you are promised those leads never work.
I bought a list of 100,000 leads my self and guess what? their
response was worse than 1000 of my real subscribers that subscribed
through my website.
I
kept testing and testing and still they never work. If you want
a real list then you have to build it not to buy it.
